When should I choose 4mm over 3mm?
Choose 4mm for exterior signs, spans over ~1.2 m, or anywhere wind-load and long-term flatness matter. For interior and lightweight fascia work, 3mm Signage ACP saves weight and cost.
What's the difference between the 0.30 mm and 0.20 mm skin versions?
Both are 4 mm panels; the 0.30 mm aluminium skin adds dent-resistance and rigidity for fully exposed installs (5.43 kg/m²), while the 0.20 mm version (4.86 kg/m²) is the value choice for sheltered locations.
Can it be routed and folded like 3mm?
Yes — it v-grooves and folds cleanly for sign trays; allow for the larger fold radius from the thicker section.
